Early childhood teacher in early learning center

Location: Shenzhen or  Beijing, China

Starting:  February- July   2023

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver edits to existing Lesson Plan Frameworks from our center in accordance with our curriculum frameworks, focusing on incorporating key areas of early childhood education, including but not limited to:

– Personal, social, and emotional development

– Sensory integration

– Communication, language, and literacy

– Problem-solving, reasoning, and numeracy

– Physical well-being, health, and nutrition

– Understanding of the world

– Creativity and the Arts

• Ensure our learning program reflects acceptance of the cultural diversity of global citizens

• Engage with families within our facility throughout the day and during scheduled classes;

understanding and respecting the value of continued child development, observation, and opportunities for learning in all environments

• Model and encourage positive interaction between all adults and children in the center

• Assist with planning and executing special events such as but not limited to; cultural days, concert shows, outings, charity events, and strategic partner collaborations

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or above, postgraduate and/or education specialty is a plus

• Strong English expression and communication skills both verbally and in the written word

• Familiar and knowledgeable in teaching, experience within an Early Years setting is preferred yet not essential

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft software, skillful typing skills

• Passionate and patient, ability to work with flexibility

• Available to work on at least one day of the weekend, however, will be employed for a 5-day working week (EG 2 consistent rest days)

Salary & Benefits:

• RMB24,000 – 30,000 (after tax and deductions) depending on professional experience, Interview & teaching demonstration

• Private, non-contributory medical insurance (after completion of the probationary period)

• 7 days of flexible Annual Leave plus CHN National Holidays that follow the center operations calendar (leave in lieu will be arranged if work overtime on the holidays) including paid Chinese ‘Golden Week’ Holiday and paid

extended Annual Chinese New Year break

• Ongoing teacher training throughout employment

Notes:

• Contract period of 2 years

• Average daily teaching of 3/4 classes, 45 – 75 minutes per class
